The Infant nido.

We at our Montessori Academy Schools have an infant/toddler environment designed to give the young ones the freedom to learn through their senses. Soft natural light, low shelves, freedom of movement on the floor, and the calm presence of consistent caregivers.

Movement, language, and trust.

From the first days, infants are supported in developing gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and language through real conversation, songs, and stories.

Routines around feeding, sleeping, and changing are unhurried and predictable — building the trust that lets a child venture out to explore.

What a day looks like.

Tummy time, movement on a low mat, treasure baskets, gentle music, outdoor time, and meals served at child-sized tables as soon as developmentally appropriate. Each child's individual schedule is honored.
